Dr. Joseph Nadeau Announces Our 23rd Season

There's one word I hope I never hear from an audience member after an HMC concert: ordinary.

I like to think that we go beyond what people expect from a "traditional" chorus. Our audience members have come to expect the unexpected from us—irreverent humor, insightful commentary and inspiring sounds.

You'll find all those qualities in the season ahead.

It's a family affair, of sorts, but much more fun than your last family reunion! We begin with a holiday concert celebrating our families—those we are born into and those that we have chosen. For our spring concert, we broaden our scope to look at the family of humanity and our fight for gender equality, racial equality and GLBT rights. And what family gathering would be complete without a party? That's exactly how we'll end the season—by singing and dancing the night away to the hits we all love.

We hope you'll join our family for the 2008-2009 season. Ordinary? No. Extraordinary? That's more like it.
