Team HMCKC Remembers & Raises Money for AIDS Walk KC

HMCKC walked in the first AIDS Walk KC 33 years ago and since then we have raised tens of thousands of dollars for those in the Kansas City Area living with HIV.

Randy Hite is one HMCKC member who is walking to remember former members. “I’ll be walking with my team to remember those friends of mine that I’ve lost to AIDS. One of those friends was Robert Busby. He was in the chorus and he was a dancer and we were buddies and he would love to know that his name is on one of the memorial banners that the chorus will display during the walk. So, I walked to remember Robert and all my other friends.”

Team HMCKC is close to reaching its goal of $8,400 for the 2021 AIDS Walk KC. You can still donate to the Team’s fundraiser by June 30, 2021. Click here.
